CONFERENCE BRIEF
A day built for ideas that matter to Bermuda.
Our Inaugural Conference brings together Bermuda's aspiring researchers and senior academics for a day of presentations, knowledge exchange, and cross-disciplinary dialogue.
Presentations will focus on three key areas: economics and business, health and social sciences, and natural and environmental sciences, fostering discussion that is both academically rigorous and locally meaningful.

Presentation
Aspiring and senior researchers present original research across three tracks. The breakout rooms will run in parallel, and attendees are welcome to move between tracks during transition periods.
Panel on Anti-Social Behaviour in Small Island States
The conference closes with a 35-minute cross-disciplinary panel discussion, followed by a moderated audience Q&A.
Connect and Continue the Conversation
The conference provides an opportunity for students and researchers to build their academic networks on island, and for the general public to engage directly with the ideas and people shaping Bermuda's research community.

General admission for in-person attendance in Hamilton. Includes refreshments, all presentation sessions, the keynote address, the closing panel, and the evening reception.

Apply to Present
Researchers and students are invited to present original research work across any of our three disciplinary tracks. Slots open for both aspiring and senior researchers. Presentations are 15 minutes long, followed by a 10-minute Q&A session.
